Text Message Program
Last updated October 30, 2026
Quorasen is a safety check-in service for buildings and communities. This page describes the text messages it sends, how people agree to receive them, and how to stop them. It is the same wording people see when they are asked to agree.
Quorasen test and account texts (for building managers)
Who gets them. Building managers who use Quorasen, on their own phone, only after they agree.
How they agree.
- A building manager signs in at app.quorasen.com, opens Account, then Test texts to my phone, enters their own mobile number, and ticks an unchecked box agreeing to these texts. The box carries the message frequency, "Msg & data rates may apply", how to stop and get help, and links to the Privacy Policy and Terms. See the screens.
- Quorasen sends one text asking them to reply YES. No other text is sent until they reply YES.
- The wording in that text is: "Quorasen: Reply YES to receive test notifications and account texts from Quorasen. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
- Their reply is recorded with the time and the wording they saw.
What the texts are. A test notification they ask for, to see what a building safety notification looks like; confirmation of their own sign-up; and notices about their own account. No marketing.
Building safety notifications and check-ins (for people in a building)
A building registers an organization as its text sender. That organization's name is at the start of every text, and the person who runs the building adds the phone numbers of the people who live or work there.
How people agree. Each person receives one text from their building's sender asking them to agree. They receive no safety text notifications until they reply YES. The wording is:
"By replying YES, you agree to receive automated safety notifications and check-in texts from [the building's sender] at this number. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
What the texts are. A notice that a safety incident was reported at their building, with a request to reply 1 if they are safe, 2 if they are away, or 3 if they need help; an all-clear; confirmation of their own sign-up; and reminders of scheduled safety drills, which are always marked as drills. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.
This service does not send public emergency alerts or weather warnings, and it is not a replacement for calling 911. In danger, call 911 first.
Frequency, cost, stopping and help
- How often. Message frequency varies. Most people receive a few texts a year (drills and the occasional real incident).
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Quorasen does not charge recipients.
- Stop. Reply STOP at any time. You will receive one confirmation and no more texts. Reply YES to sign up again.
- Help. Reply HELP, or write to hello@quorasen.com.
- Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
