Terms of Service

Last updated October 30, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Quorasen, LLC (“Quorasen”, “we”). They cover your use of Quorasen. By creating an account, signing in, or using Quorasen to run a building, you agree to them. If you are using it for a building or organization, you confirm you are allowed to do so on its behalf.

Quorasen is not an emergency service. It helps people account for each other. It does not call 911, and it does not replace calling 911. In danger, call 911 first. Messages can be delayed or fail to arrive, so do not rely on Quorasen as the only way to raise an alarm or to reach someone.

What Quorasen is

Quorasen lets a building send safety notifications and check-in requests by text, collects answers, and shows the people who run it who is safe, away or needs help. Members use a private link and do not need an account. Administrators and Managers sign in to run a building.

What a building is responsible for

Text messages

Messages are sent to the numbers a building adds, after each person agrees by replying YES. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop. Reply HELP for help. For support, write to hello@quorasen.com. How the program works is described on the Text Message Program page.

The phone numbers Quorasen sends texts from are owned and paid for by Quorasen. A building does not own a number and cannot move it to another provider, and a number is recognized by the carriers only while it is used by Quorasen for that building. When a building stops using Quorasen and its information is deleted, its number is released, and a later building may be given a different number, which may not be a local one. Registration fees for the number, brand and campaign are paid by Quorasen and are not charged to the building. Carriers and networks can delay or block messages, and we cannot guarantee delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use

Fees and trials

A building may start with a free trial. Paid plans, prices and billing terms are shown before you buy and apply from then on. You can cancel at any time, and refunds are described in the Refund Policy.

Your information

How we handle information is in our Privacy Policy. A building keeps ownership of its own roster and records.

Ending use

You can stop using Quorasen at any time. We can suspend or end access for a breach of these terms or to protect people or the service. What happens to a building's information when it ends is in the Privacy Policy.

No warranty, and limits on our responsibility

Quorasen is provided as it is and as available. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that any message will arrive or arrive on time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount the account paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and tell the people who run a building by email. Continuing to use Quorasen after that means you accept the change.
